Aleksandra Cholewa, PhD

Aleksandra Cholewa-Domanagić is a globally recognised strategist and senior advisor with over 20 years of international experience spanning critical minerals, responsible supply chains, ESG, industrial investment, and digital innovation. In her role as Of Counsel to Luma Holding Group, she provides strategic advisory support across the Group's portfolio, supporting its outreach and positioning globally and in Poland across the full spectrum of Luma's investment areas — from metallurgy and mining through automotive and industrial automation to new technologies and private equity.

Aleksandra brings deep operational and strategic expertise built across some of the world’s most complex business environments. She has led multimillion-euro industrial investment projects in Africa and Europe, developed responsible sourcing and traceability frameworks at the intersection of policy and practice, and built lasting relationships with governments, investors, industry bodies, and international organisations across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Western Balkans, Central Europe, Ukraine, and global policy forums.

Her advisory role spans the Luma Group’s key sectors: in metallurgy and mining, she brings unparalleled expertise in responsible sourcing, supply chain risk management, and international minerals governance; in automotive and industrial automation, she supports strategic positioning and ESG integration in line with evolving European and global regulatory requirements; and across Luma’s broader portfolio, she contributes to business development, investor relations, and the Group’s global and Polish outreach strategy.

Aleksandra holds a doctorate in Management and Quality Science from the University of Szczecin, with research focused on tools supporting responsible sourcing and traceability systems. She is a recipient of the WIM100 award — recognising the 100 most influential women in the global mining industry — and serves as the founder and President of Women in Mining Poland. She lectures at the Institute of Management, University of Szczecin, and is a certified sworn translator fluent in six languages.
