He served as Deputy Minister of National Defence, overseeing armaments and the modernisation of the Polish Armed Forces. He also held the positions of Vice President of the Management Board of Bumar Sp. z o.o. and President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Obronny Sp. z o.o., playing an active role in the development of Poland’s defence industry.
His professional experience also includes the gas and energy sector, where he served as President of the Management Board of EuRoPol Gaz S.A. He was also involved in the energy and construction industries, managing investment projects for Orlen S.A. and PSE S.A. Most recently, he served as Vice President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., where he was responsible for the Group’s sales and finance operations.
Marcin Idzik holds a degree in Law from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He also completed postgraduate studies in financial control at the University of Economics in Katowice and is a certified internal auditor, having passed the state examination administered by the Polish Minister of Finance.
