We are proud to announce that one of the Luma Group’s companies, LuNa Smelter actively participated in the African Mining Forum 2020.

It was a great experience for the whole team. The AMF is an elite international event organised annually for professionals from the mining sector of East Africa. This year, the Forum – with fantastic panels, interesting interactions, and discussions – was held fully online. These circumstances gave LuNa a unique opportunity to meet its partners not only from Rwanda but from the entire continent.

On 16-20 November LuNa Smelter, as the golden sponsor, took part in an online conference.

The speakers were Aleksandra Cholewa, – Director of Investment & Development at Luma Holding and Member of the Supervisory Board at LuNa Smelter – in the discussion “How Africa can build a solid benefaction industry in order to deliver a better return on investment” and “Women in Mining. Improve your industry attractiveness and return on investment with inclusive diversity” and Olena Wiaderna Board Member at LuNa Smelter – speaking on the subject “End to end mineral tracking: deploying blockchain as a way of increasing transparency in the supply chain”. On 10 November,  Radoslaw Miskiewicz, PhD, DSc, Principal CEO at Luma Holding, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at LuNa Smelter, took part in an online briefing.
