The Rwanda Awareness Day hosted by the Silesian University of Technology

The Rwanda Awareness Day hosted by the Silesian University of Technology is not only a chance to promote the country in Poland, but also a trigger to discuss educational cooperation between the countries. Our representatives could not miss the event. Prof. Dr Radoslaw Miskiewicz, professor at the University of Szczecin and the founder of Luma Holding, was one of the speakers at the conference on the educational and economic cooperation. Aleksandra Cholewa, Member of the Supervisory Board of LuNa Smelter Ltd and Patience Murekezi, a student at the Silesian University of Technology and a Luma Holding’s scholar coming from Rwanda, also took part in the event.

Metal 2022 conference in Brno

Yesterday, we attended the Metal 2022 conference in Brno, Czech Republic. Our representatives, Łukasz Banasik Banasik, President of the Board of Directors and Katarzyna Janik, had an opportunity to tell about the history and improvement of Smelter throughout the years and to present the plan for the development and expansion of LuNa Smelter and its mining activities.

At Hydomat Tools, the commissioning of a new CNC machine has just completed

The new equipment is a Doosan 5700 CNC router with a Heidenhain 640 control system, of the working area of 1000x570mm. It is already the fifth router at Hydomat Tools. The machines will allow increasing the capacity of a bottleneck, which is the precise routing, by approximately 20% and will enable production of details of precise shapes, with tolerance of 0.01mm.
