Minister of Trade and Industry visits LuNa Smelter
Soraya Hakuziyaremye, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Francis Gatare, CEO of RMB, visited the Smelter on 18 June 2019 and, together with representatives of LuNa Smelter Ltd., toured the premises and were impressed by the progress on the ongoing maintenance, construction, and preparations for the 2nd production phase scheduled for July 2019. Our guests were briefed on the current situation of the Smelter and on our future plans related to the integral development of Rwandan mining and metallurgy, to which LuNa Smelter desires to contribute significantly.
Hakuziyaremye was greatly impressed by the progress and proud of the step taken to make “Tin Made in Rwanda” a reality.
